Virtually new 2007 GSX-R 750 with only 500 km's since new. NZ full spec version (Not a US/Canadian import). First service completed.
Bike includes Full Race Akrapovic Exhaust, Power Commander with Map to suit exhaust, BMC Race Air Filter, R&G Frame Savers and Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa tyres.
Genuine reason for sale. Selling for the Suzuki Summerfest (which are Canadian models) new bike price ono but with over $2,500 worth of performance parts, as above.... so it really goes!
Genuinely interested cash buyers can contact me on 021-915144

Yeah it is a great deal with all the bits included... you should hear how it sounds!
Akrapovic systems are as good as they get as far as I'm concerned.

Do you have one in black..?? ;)
You've got me intrigued, young sir. First the Yammie, then the baby blade went and now a gixxer.... what next? A Kwaka?!!
or is it 'cos your boys getting a ribbin at school from my lad, cos Bodhi's dads got a bigger bike :bleh:
ps... was that you on the bike taoday about 5ish near madills farm?

Definitely not going green... in fact I'm going back to a CBR. They are a really great little bike. The change back is largely due to discovering that the 750 is a slower hadling heavier bike than I have got used to with the CBR. As I only do track days, and a lot at Taupo, due to my size and strength chucking the bike around the CBR is a better bike for me than the 750.
Having said that, the GSX-R is a cool bike in it's own right. With that exhaust it really howls and the slipper clutch is great. Much more power than the 600, which I will miss, but if you can't get around the corners as quick and brake as late then all the power in the world (like a Gixxer 1000) doesn't make you quicker... so bigger isn't always better! :bleh:
Both are great bikes so it's really just a matter of what suits me... I'm pleased I tried it!
Someone will get a great bike with the 750. It's better than new...

I've had the pleasure of watching you ride and having you fly past me like i'm stood still... on the yammie.
I know you keep your bikes pristine and i'm sure someones going to be a very proud owner of a little.. (or rather not so little :p) .. gixxer .
Good luck with the sale.

Can't see the pic that well because of reflection, but is that an aftermarket screen added as well?

Hi Alvin
Firtsly it's not just cool looking. If you give me your email address I'll send a sound clip of the exhaust!
I have a couple of guys quite interested but it's first in first served obviously.
With regards to the Summerfest deal I am aware of that but my understanding is they are all Canadian models. I believe they have a different ECU (fuel and ignition mapping) to suit their fuel and market. The fuel in europe, UK and Australia (Inc. NZ) is a different spec according to BP... long story but I have checked all this out.
Anyway, I don't know how much performance difference this makes and probably for most guys just street riding it may not make any real difference. Suzuki is doing a smart thing and making bikes more affordable by doing this.
However, from my point of view I insisted on an NZ spec bike for peace of mind and to ensure maximum performance. The last thing I wanted was a lemon, albeit still a great great bike, but just down on power compared to the local versions. To me that was worth the extra cost. My understanding is the Summerfest discounted bikes are the Canadian ones (Chassis No. has a "GR" in it whereas our versions are "CF" according to the Suzuki Service Manual) and NZ bikes are usual price... although I am sure you can always talk a better deal!
With the "Summerfest" bikes in mind I hope to sell this "NZ" model bike for around the Summerfest price but with around $3K worth of extra's included. The bike only has 500km's on it, has had it's first oil change etc. and is mint... and fast! It really is a great bike but not quite right for me and what I do... I'm back to my 600's.
Obviously it's your call but if you are interested in seeing it give me a call on 09-5780003 hm / 09-3686042 wk / 021-915144 (Home no. is best over the weekend)
Are you in Auckland?

No, the screen is stock and I think adequate height and taller than what i'm used too. However, some people really like double bubbles...

Mine is Canadian.
Pretty sure the petrol tank is smaller as well, 15.5l. I get around 150km round town riding before the reserve light starts flashing, bit more on open road trips, a lot less on the track.
I use 91 and get a little bit of backfiring when closing the throttle from high revs, but it's not too bad. I tried 95 but the bike backfired on all up gear changes.

Whooey, thanks for the clip mate! I'm stuck at work 500km's from the nearest decent bike and this cheered me up no end....I've just got to hide the embarrassing bulge in my overalls now.....

Suzuki Fest bikes are american spec (E03) and there is no difference in spec between normal australian spec (E24). Not to confuse EO3 (USA spec) to E33 (California spec).

If there is "no difference" then why is it a different spec. Regardless of this the point I made previously was "I insisted on an NZ spec bike for peace of mind and to ensure maximum performance. The last thing I wanted was a lemon, albeit still a great great bike, but just down on power compared to the local versions."
The fact is when nobody can definitively tell you what the differences are, and when you know the fuel here is different to the US and Canada, I personally take comfort in knowing the bike I have is the correct spec for where I live and ride. Maybe it's no great difference, maybe it is, I have heard all too much from both sides of the fence so buying the local model takes any concerns away.
Anyway, it's sold... and the purchaser is getting nothing less than a brilliant mint bike and at a very good price. Better than any stock Summerfest bike let alone a local market bike.
Thanks to everyone else who expressed interest... but too late!

Yours is canadian, Suzuki fest bikes are US spec. Us spec 750 has 16.5L fuel tank.
