Ride to Puhoi Sunday 28 Nov

Havent been for a decent ride since winter began so since its my weekend off Im gonna get my GIXXER out for a decent thrash.

Leaving Maungatapere at 10am, riding sedately down past Ruakaka to turn off at Waipu through to Langs Beach, Mangawai, coming out at Wellsford then heading down Highway 16 to Kaukopakopa, then turn left across to the motorway and back up to Puhoi.

This covers some awesome roads and hopefully not too many cops, and should be other bikers at the pub. Anyone is welcome to come along, if anyone from Auckland area wants to hook up with us you will have to estimate the times we will be at any destination, or you can txt me on 021 2577 092.

TXT me when you're in Mangawai as we'll be in Warkwoth for the night at the Maha's so we'll catch up with you on the way back down to Tauranga.
No doubt will be bringing a few with us too mate.

Had me hopes up there... Nov 28 would have given me enough time to get my swingarm fixed (cracked) - which I've finally decided to get done as a temporary fix, until I can get a new one built (the originals have - so I've discovered - a tendency to crack in a number of different places)... :cry:

Ah well, still gotta get the damn swingarm fixed...

BTW - nzkalt61 - do you actually live at Maungatapere? ... so do I... Otaika Valley Road...
