Was gonna upgrade the C50T to a Kawasaki Vulcan,.....
but oh how quickly things have changed.
Would look awesome with white walls too.
What do the rest of you KBers think?

Where's the option for "I only like the non-T version, but it doesn't matter because I can't afford either of them?" :)

Better pics on the Suzuki site, here (http://www.suzukicycles.com/Products/C109RTK8/Default.aspx) for the T, and here (http://www.suzukicycles.com/Products/C109RK8/Default.aspx) for the non-T...
US$13,799. Dang. Wouldn't it be nice if I won the lotto tonight.

nice bike ,but as i ride a m109r i just wounder what it will ride like with 2 up in corners with all that extra baggage on it , looks like they have changed the bars ,they would need to as the m109 is no armchair ride , ,but the 240 wide rear can tend to push you wide in corners, it is a total different beast to ride ,the m109 is a beast when you roll the gas on,it can be a head banger, so hopefully the person behind you knows to hold on when you do this, look nice but , will have test ride one, but if you ride 2 up then the c would be the way to go than the m109r :done:

Neutral on the styling of modern bikes, but I guess they grow on you if you like that sort of stuff. But where could the bike be used with all that power? Motorways, South Canterbury roads? Just cruising at 100 kph wouldn't get it anywhere near warm. (Be like owning a Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche or Koenigsegg - nice, but totally unsatisfying, cause NZ roads aren't made for these vehicles.) And for touring? Auckland to Wellington in two days: hardly get over idling speed.
But would I buy one - or a Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche? Nope, but the Koenigsegg would look stunning in our driveway. Be good on the road ... and they've made a Bio-Fuel version (http://www.koenigsegg.nu/CCXR.html) too. I WANT ONE!!!! Anyone got a spare $US640,000?
Damn - I'll have to make do with the Intruder.

You never know - when touring, I'm sure costs could be offset by running a mobile stump-pulling service, or pulling tractors out of swamps. Other uses include testing weighstations' limits and providing either an immoveable object or unstoppable force for science experiments. I don't think it will be long before this class of bike is regarded as middleweight cruisers and most people ride 4 litre v-twins.

I believe that this new beast is due for release in Jan2008, or so the dealers tell me.
I look forward to taking one for a squirt and see how it compares to the C90.
Could be a late xmas present if the wee woman is happy!!!!!!!

Hmm, looks like the C90T with the 1800 motor.. but I cant for the life of me see why I would upgrade another measley 300cc, If I wanted more grunt I'd just release whats being held back in the C90 by letting it breath and freeing the exhaust with a V&H.. but as it already has all I need for cruising, I think Ill wait till something else tickles my fancy... apart from which, I get okay economy as it stands..

leave the m109r alone, i agree with you johnnyflash ,the 2 up bike is the c90, not 109, bloody zuki , they are like a kid with a new toy .They have gone and broken it:doh:and stick it back together with rubber bands and no 8 wire.

We need to catch up J.Flash so you can see and hear the V&H. I am sorry that I have been busy the last few weekends but would appreciate your thoughts on what I have done with the C90. Being honest, I am more than happy with the C90 just the way it is with it's 1500 cc and there is a lot more to be unleashed if one needs too. You would be more than welcome to take my bike fort a bit of blat to see what you think!!
