Great photos Guy and with you taking them it saved me having to do it.
Good turn out too unlike Auckland by the sound of it. Most people who said they were coming came except for a few notable exceptions but then there were others that swelled the numbers like non-KB partners. Mrs merv came with me and it was good to meet people like Mrs F5Dave for the first time too. Did anyone count the numbers I certainly didn't but it would be upwards of 50 I would have thought.
Thanks for your company last night everyone especially those from out of Welly that decided our party was the one to come to.
These are the only pics we took on my camera last night. I don't know why Drew and Flame are so blurry, it was but early in the night when that pic was taken, and then Lissa is such a star she's caused a reflection back onto her own forehead.
OK klingon I'll add the names to my pics:
1 Drew and flame;
2 Lissa and skelstar;
3 merv, Mrs Kendog, Kendog;
4 merv, BuckBuckNo1, Lissa

The photos are great - but where are the captions?! From the comments I can work out some of them... Colapop is obviously the huggy one, Drew and Flame are blurry, Lissa is the bright spark... but who are the others?
As noted in another thread, I went along to the Auckland bash expecting to meet real people and put names to faces but it was a bit of a fizzer. :crybaby: So at least let me join the Welly party by proxy! :banana:

Well folks, I certainly enjoyed myself tremenduously in Wellie! :headbang:
What an awesome bunch of people...
Firtsly, a big thanks (again) to the Kendogs for putting up with me...You two are just the best! :love:
Colapop, my dear brother, please break the news gently to Nick...:shutup: :rofl: And I'm glad you were so gentle, my ribs are feeling just fine!!!! I'm not so sure about 007XY's though..:laugh:
Skunk...what can I say? You lived up to your monicker...:first: And how's the shoulder, hope it's not too bruised! :laugh: Mrs Skunk just rocks...
AJTurbo, you are one crazy man, and that's a bloody good thing! Who will get to go on Christine next, I wonder?:shit:
Master Hitcher, you are as interesting as I thought you would be and it was awesome to meet you and Mrs Hitcher...
Flame, great chatting with you, and will definitely want to keep in touch (in hopefully the near future) about that 675! You have tempted me enormously, and I agree with you, I'd rather stick with a European bike...
Ocean1, a real pleasure to meet you too...
Many more to say hi to and how much I enjoyed everyone's company, you guys all rocked. Thank you all for making me feel welcome!
I'm just really sorry I didn't get to spend more time with everyone...Me thinks this will call for another trip down the line at some stsge in the future! :Punk:

Yep, I did...and I got witnesses too! :laugh:
Got to admit I am a little bit proud of my effort. :D (about 1300kms in 2 and a half days).
Was offered to have a spell in the cage during a stopover in Te Kuiti, but by then, it had become a personal mission! Noway was I going to give in...
Admitedly, I wasn't tired enough to justify it, otherwise I would have given in. Safety first always, eh?

Yep...although it has gotten better over the years. Probably cos I can pronounce it better than when I had a stronger french accent.
I got a bit tired of the following scebnario:
Me: Hi! my name's Veronique. :D
Counterpart: Hi!....what is your name sorry? :confused:
Me: VERONIQUE...
Counterpart: I'm sorry....what? :wacko: Veeenonik???
Me: no, that's ok! Just call me V...:crazy::argh:

Hello. My name is Colapop. I went out to party on Saturday night. But everyone went home before they turned into pumpkins. It must be Halloween. Bloody hardarse bikers. And yet, I get given shit about cake! Wasn't even hungover on Sunday...
It was bloody nice to meet (in the FLESH) some new squishables. All in all not too bad a little get together - gutted that Mikey wasn't allowed back in though - he woulda stayed and got rat-faced with me!

I wouldn't have the faintest clue what the actress in reference looks like to be honnest.
Edit: I just googled her and I can see now why Oldrider is taken by her charms...:rofl: And I might be bale to reach that level of grace, given about 30 years, 2 packs of smokes a day, and maybe a few bottles of bourbon...
