Guys - the reason BikeStore haven't advertised them yet is that we haven't finished uploading them all. The Gallery's been taken down until we've got it all finished.

OK, kids. 933 pictures now up in the BikeStore Gallery (http://www.bikestore.co.nz/gallery.asp). My personal favourites.

1: A guy on an old FJ1200 cornering way harder than that bike has any right to be pushed - watching him give his mate on a GSX-R1000 the learn was fun. (http://www.bikestore.co.nz/pics/gallery/Taupo%20-%20KiwiBiker%20Trackday%206/frosty_0382.jpg)
2: Scooter-power. Was great seeing these guys out having a ball. (http://www.bikestore.co.nz/pics/gallery/Taupo%20-%20KiwiBiker%20Trackday%206/frosty_1072.jpg)
3: Sparky slider action (http://www.bikestore.co.nz/pics/gallery/Taupo%20-%20KiwiBiker%20Trackday%206/frosty_1019.jpg)

Unfortunately not, bro. You buggered off after lunch, and before lunch I was too busy trying to remember all the stuff you showed me. Next time, mate, next time.

And they're not big. All of those have been resized down. You should be able to print them on 6x4 images without any trouble, but if anyone wants the full-monty 4MB images (good for blowing up to about A2 size) then the file's yours for a small donation to Dan Evans' family. Zapf / Felix will be posting the details shortly.

Nope - unadulterated 3888 x 2592 (10.1 MP) image. JPEG, but with very low compression. Straight as it comes out of the camera.

Thats Phil (fast1200) from Gisborne. This time he had a decent rear tyre on, you should have seen him at TD5 with a Harley Rear tyre (good 16" rubber is hard to find) and almost as fast!!!! The guy would be lethal on a sports bike!

No way mate. I was in the medium group and lapped most people and I never really got overtaken except when I cocked lines up really badly etc. but when I jumped up to the fast group I only managed to overtake a very few riders and you were a dissappearing dot along with quite a fwe others! It wsa only when Sudeep came out and I started imitating his lines that I stood any chance. You sit perfectly in the middle section of the fast group, the top end if you exclude the racers!

Ok, I put shortened versions of the videos on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8t0Wb_HZPbE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-SmJkXNyGg

Sorry about the quality, but it's a cheap camera set up. The full quality videos aren't much better than what you see on youtube (same resolution, just slightly better quality due to not being compressed and recompressed). Also I had to shorten them because of the time limit on youtube.

Rich, that bit where I passed you was at the end of session 4, but I had to cut it. You when out of the camera view before the corner, so you're not missing much, but if you want I could put that bit up on youtube too.

I tried getting a couple of pics of you but the armco was in the way. Were you trying to bounce the front or was that just off the throttle?

Does it all by itself mate. 150 odd real horsepower and lowered gearing will do that to ya. Hence the groan at Frostys "No fuggin wheelies" speech in the briefing. Try getting that thing outta a second gear corner whilst keeping the tyre glued to the track. Just aint gonna happen :D
