Went to Holshot yesterday and ordered my new bike. A 2008 M50 in Black.

I am Super Stoked !

I took the demo machine home last night to show the boss, and she loved it.

No pics as yet (It dosnt arrive until Thursday), so I have to make do with a GN250 until then - boy its going to be a long few days.

Looking forward to seeing some of you guys on a cruiser run!

And thanks to the answers to my questions on other threads over the last month or so - you really made my decision a lot easier - Bling to all of ya!

That will be awesome (it does sound a little quiet dosnt it)- heck if you are in Auckland (and dont mind) - I will come for a listen in person.

Nice work, can imagine you will be doing some miles on it this summer.

Mate who rode sports bikes in the 80s has just looked at one of these, his guts has got away on him a bit. Suzukifest pricing makes them a sweet deal.

When you originally said it was arriving on Thursday, I could see you visualising picking it up today, and I was thinking, "Yeah - right!!"

But don't worry - the weather's already turning to shit! (It was all that talk about what a glorious day it was that did it...:bye:)

They told me it was arriving Wednesday - so I thought Thursday was a go-er.

And Yep have been thinking about it / making plans for tonight / friday / Saturday based off that silly / stupid assumption.

Bugger.

Good choice Tank. It takes a bit of work choosing a new bike and a few sleepless nights. I only recently bought my Boulevard(5 months) and I am more than happy with my choice. Great ride, and look forward to catching up.

bollocks ! bollocks ! bollocks !,

Called LTSA with the reg number so they could fax the letter and guess what - the lady who is doing my file is away sick coming back (hopefully) Monday.

Spoke to someone else in the team but they cannot help until the original lady returns.

Such is life - but I was so looking forward to riding all this weekend. :baby:

So now it will be 'sometime' next week:weep:

Hey tank, yeah we have a few "ratchet jaws" on here  (pot calling kettle black) err, we generally have a monthly formal reasonably long run and then most weekends shorter runs, we post it in the meetings forum as "Cruiser Run"... and also in the Calendar so keep your eyes on those two, usually someone will suggest a run here and then it will get posted in the meetings and calendar, bound to be a run up 16 this saterday if weather is ok..
