I like the conclusion from the police where they come to the outcome that the bike was not road worthy and it appered to not have brakes. (In the pic the brake is tied up with a green rope...)

Yeah - the rider was a complete dork. Doesn't help the public perception of us, does it?
But...also reported, but not online, was the story of 2 fuckwits in a Honda Accord deliberately using their car as a battering ram on some bloke on a mini-chopper in Taradale. Photo showed the car mounted on top of the bike. How the rider wasn't hurt escapes me. The driver calmly sauntered off to the pub.
There truly are some people out there who don't deserve their freedom

Bit sad how he ran. If he'd stayed put, it would have been funnier. He'd have probably made some new friends.

So the rear "brake" was what, and Jandal in the spokes? sorry it just sounded like redundant english.
But yeh basically real bikers don't start on no fancy bike with stuff like brakes or tread.
Things are getting to soft these days :)

ment to say "no front brakes," rear brake was ok untill the lever snapped off - if you own a gpz1000rx and get offerd a free or very cheap rear brake lever - take it, they are worth more than gold!

LOL glad nobody was badly hurt. The rider was lucky to get away reasonably intact after smashing through a glass door.

Makes my first attempts at riding a bike seem positively competent by comparison.
