Tomorrow night is Halloween, the traditional All-Hallows eve where ghosts, goblins witched and warlocks are free to roam the countryside.
And dozens of scabby little bastard kids, swarming the streets in search of 'treats'.
I'm not having a bloody bar of it, so if you don't want to supply a regiment of greedy little beggars a kings ransom in lollies meet me at Shell Westgate at 5.45 for a ride away from the mayhem. Probably up to Wellsford or Warkworth for a pint and some pub grub.
