Woke up this morning with the sun pouring through the curtains and thought 'what a great day for a ride, dame work'

So jumped up (wife thought i must have shit the bed as i never move that quick(unless it's to get a leg over)) swallowed some breakfast got my work stuff and jumped on my bike,

SO instead of the boring 15min drive from the Bays up to Silverdale in the company cage, i went Bays, Albany, coatsville, kumeu, Helensville, ahuroa, warkworth THEN Silverdale.........the perfect way to start a week day morning.

the problem now is I'll be sitting here looking at my bike all day and i'll have to leave early for a ride .....don't you just hate that.

Well, you didn't.
I hate a nice ride to work, enjoyed that lovely "crisp, cool morning with the hint of a warm day to follow" feeling, and I'm looking forward to riding again later. I might even take the afternoon off.

My bike has been looking at me all morning through the window so i had to go for a quick lunch ride out to Waitoki, planning on knocking off at 4pm for another ride and maybe end up out at the Thursday night ride at Westgate. (never done one of those):niceone::niceone:

Well i have to report that the day didn't end as good as it started.

went for a ride this arvo and then hooked up with my old man and we headed to Westgate to meet up for the "Thursday Night Ride" (my first one) had some McD's and waited for everone to show up....good turn out too

anyway fired up and headed out of the service station only to find that the headlight on my bike won't turn on, so I had to wave everyone on and turn for home to get there before is was dark. so missed my first ATNR...maybe next week
