Are these the ones that have the 16" front wheel? Is it a pain to get good 16" tyres?

Yes it has a 16" front. It isn't a pain to get sports tyres - not too sure about the more touring oriented stuff. It is a 130/70 x 16. Check it out on the tyre manufacturers websites. Remember there were a heck of a lot of old Blades produced.

He priced it pretty cheap to move it on quickly but it seems to have backfired and everyone that rings him seems to think there must be something wrong with it (which there isn't). He watched sales on trademe for quite a while and old Blades seemed to sell between $4500 and $5500 hence the pricing. Certainly seems a lot of bike for the buck compared to some others on here (IMHO).

Those engines do 200,000kms too, I read a write up about a guy using a 93 Blade for a postie bike as well as his weekend bike in the UK...never missed a beat and reached 200,000kms. Another guy did a around the world trip on a 93 Blade...cant remeber the amount of KMs covered but it was a shit load...that went perfect.
They are a dream bike of mine...but in the Blue, Red and White paint scheme...but this one is darn cheap. MUST SELL CAR HEHEHE

I may be interested in the bike - I just need to find one here in Wellington that I can do the 'sit test' on.
The seats on that model are fairly wide and I am conscious of the fact that I may not be able to touch the ground....:gob:
If anyone know of one here in Wellie that I could sit on with my newly elevated bike boots please let me know ????

New battery has been fitted. It is going into Duanes Bikes for an appraisal report on Wednesday after which it will be held until the weekend for a buyer. If you want it you'd better act fast. No trades sorry.
