I am parting out my spare Honda 1997 RS125, as it not needed and I need the cash to get back out racing.

Details

The frame and swingarm have both been welded. They were welded by a professional welding company and have done a very good job. I have also set the frame up on the mill at work and checked for run out with a Dial test indicator. It is out of true by 1mm, which is impossible to notice.

There is a dent in the swingarm.

I have built this bike up after the repairs and raced it at Taupo raceway gaining a 2nd place finish in the 125GP class on it. There was no faults what so ever with the handling of the bike.

This would be the perfect frame for a bucket project, or even a Super mono F3 bike.

It is very very lightweight coming in at a mere 10.2KG

I have almost a complete bike to part out, so if you need anything let me know

Cheers,

Glen

PS. photo is not actual frame but same model

To be honest, i have no idea.

That picture i stole from a listing on ebay, and the seller there wants $650USD (he'll never get it) and his one had been welded too.

I was sorta hoping for a few hundred. Make an offer and i'll see what I can do :)

Whoever buys that frame is getting ripped off.

Look at the size of it! 10kgs! It must be only half a frame and he's trying to trick you guys.

who ever buys that frame is getting a deal mate!

Very very few people in NZ actually own genuine "HRC" stuff. that alone is worth the coolness! (the same people that designed nicky haydens and dani pedrosas bikes)

Other wise its probably the best handling frame you can get your hands on in nz!

It looks amazing. From the thumbnail picture (before I clicked on it) I could've sworn that was just a swingarm.

Somebody should buy it and put a 450 single in it.

It wouldn't even get close to fitting, you'd be lucky if even a big four stroke single would

Nah they fit quite easily, just need to cut the engine mounts off and fabricate some yourself. Quite a few people have done it. There is a guy in the NI with a CRF450 engine in his 125 frame. Pretty cool, eats tyres to shreds though.
