Bit early for the drinking WT....
Get your point tho. Always did.
That's why I think that even moped riders should be encouraged to get on here and develop some life-saving skills....

I got no problem with the moped riders mate.
I'm wondering why there's a hell of an influx in non motorcyclists, not even "planning to be a motorcyclist" joining up and posting utter rubbish.
Gives me the shits sometimes that's all.

Crossed my mind heaps Jimmy - often thought about posting re other bikeless posters on here - particularly ones with no intentions of having a bike and never having owned one as opposed to those 'between bikes'.
Shitload of non-bike topics here these days too....

I'm looking for a washing machine repair person.
I'm sick and tired of the all the loud teenagers on my street.
Also, my cat is stuck in a tree.
Is this the right place to post?

It's the non-motorcyclists that aren't.

There's a place for those that wanna be bikers. The thing is how do you determine who wants to be and who is just trolling? Does the title extend to those who are not NZ bikers? Since I joined the site has evolved and now includes a non-NZ bikers section...

There is? Can't say I noticed it amongst the utter rubbish being posted by those who do have motorcycles.

Vote Jimmy for grumpy old-skool KBers clique president!
Can I be executive secretary?
Ban all non-riders, and allow 'pillions' to post only in their own separate forum.
'Between bikes' sorts can have a year's grace to continue posting before being banned pending proof of ownership of a motorcycle, but get throttled to two posts per day during that time.
Delete that fucking LOTPIHGAD thread once and for all. Nobody cares about it, but getting rid of it would probably make its denizens wander off and cease their occasional annoying intrusions into real discussions.
All riders who can do a sub-2:00 lap at the Taupo A1GP track get 'junior moderator' privilege, with the ability to nuke posts from anyone they personally dislike. Anyone who can't do a sub-2 lap but can show proof of more than 50,000km covered annually on their bike gets the same status.
Viva la Revolucion!

Spot on WT. Well said and blinged. Seems the pointless dribble posts are their "playground" and they would be better off using up other chat room resources than that of the KB website.
Maybe instead of stuff like that being relegated to PD, it just gets deleted by the Mods altogether?

Oh come on now. Mods get enough shit as it is without copping it for deleting posts.
I get where you're coming from though Jimmy and Cameron. Sometimes it seems hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Agreed (WT). It would nice at least if the non-bikers didn't make the most noise (abt themselves mostly).
PLeasant change to see a bike review posted the day before. Might post my own shortly too ;)

Yep I agree as well. Have to say I do post some rubbish myself (in rant and rave) but who doesnt. I even once tried to help out someone whom i thought wanted to get a bike eventually, and got shot down and told off cause they really dont have ANY intention of getting a bike at all. Hey thought I would help, not going to make the mistake of helping someone whom obviously is just here to post shit about nothing.

Completely understand that mate. You Mods do a great job... often thankless, often abused, but very much appreciated by the rest of us.

Well I don't have a bike at the moment but have had one and when I have the funds I will get another one. I love motorcycles and always have. This website and bike mags are at present the only outlet I have. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I have to agree sometimes some of the posts are frickin weird and maybe better suited for another type of forum, but what can you do. I just choose to be picky when it comes to the shit that I read.

Reg: Further more, it it the birthright of every man...
Stan: Or woman.
Reg: Why don't you shut up about women, Stan? You're putting us off.
Stan: Women have a perfect right to play a part in our movement, Reg.
Rogers: Why are you always on about women, Stan?
Stan: I want to be one.
Reg: What?
Stan: I want to be a woman. From now on, I want you all to call me Loretta.
Reg: What?
Loretta: It's my right as a man.
Judith: Well, why do you want to be Loretta, Stan?
Loretta: I want to have babies.
Reg: You want to have babies?!
Loretta: It's every man's right to have babies if he wants them.
Reg: But...you can't have babies!
Loretta: Don't you opress me!
Reg: I'm not opressing you, Stan. You haven't got a womb.
Where is the foetus going to gestate? You're going to keep it in a
box?
Loretta: Sniff.
Judith: Here, I've got an idea. Suppose you agree that he can't actually have babies, not having a womb, which is nobody's fault, not even the Romans', but that he can have the right to have babies.
Rogers: Good idea, Judith. We shall fight the oppressors for your right to have babies, brother. Sister! Sorry.
Reg: What's the point?
Rogers: What?
Reg: What's the point of fighting for his right to have
babies, when he can't have babies?
Rogers: It is symbolic of our struggle against opression.
Reg: Symbolic of his struggle against reality.

Oh do tell Mel, I am Curious to know who you're talking about?? LOL
I too talk alot of crap, have never tried to hide that fact, but hey, like dear sweet Lissa here, I own a bike, ride my bike, love my bike and do offer up the occasional titbit in bike related threads. The main reason I don't more is because I know shit.
