I'm after some after market pipes for my 06 R1. I'm sure pipes from 04 onwards will fit. If you or someone you know is wanting to sell there pipes let me know.

Edit: Am now considering just stock exhausts too

yeah alot cheaper, than aftermarket pipes, and should do the trick, heard some good things about those over seas, but don't know anyone local who running them tho

I have got a mate out west that can do this no dramas if interested.

I was even thinking I might get carbon canisters made up as well

Yeah, I was thinking the same exact thing! I know a guy up in Auckland who works with carbon fiber. I bought a exhaust for my old R6 from him. I might contact him and see what the the story is and how difficult it would be.

Any chance you could get me the contact details of the guy you know who does the baffle thingie?

Virgin mufflers are nice, I've heard Warren's fireblade, sounds mint.

I think I'll go with the baffle kit and try and get some carbon canisters made. Soooo anyone know of any 04-06 R1 pipes for sale?

Warren and I cored mine last week. they are really simple to do and as the stock canistors are Ti, I just used them.

Looks stock (except from the back) and sound cool
