These threads seem to be breeding!
Anyhoo...
Today, I rode a 250 to the VTNZ in Takanini... 45 minutes later I rode my 700 home!
That's right, some plonker in a cage followed me, saw I didn't kill myself or anyone else and decided I was probably sane enough to be trusted with a FULL class 6 endorsement on my licence.
Big thanks to those who have wished me luck (Go Sprag, my little teamster!) and special thanks to Blue Thunder who not only put up with me on a 12 hour night shift last night, but also elected to skip sleep in order to ride the 700 up to the VTNZ with me so's I could abuse the bit of paper I was handed as soon as was practical :D
Also thanks worthy is Mrs Donor for cooking me some eggs this morning, they made all the difference! (Yeah yeah, and for budgeting the cash for the licence fee... oh alright and for letting me buy another bike... sheesh...)
It was a hell of a test, the guy was VERY professional and VERY thorough - but it was a good and fair test.
Will waffle more later, right now I am off to go nap nap, and then possibly take a trip to... hell, who cares? I can right WHAT I like, WHEN I like WHENEVER I like! :2thumbsup

It sounds harsh but...
...who cares?? I got me a 700 to play with! :wari:
Cereally, I will probably look at flicking it fairly smartly, give the bank back a wad of cash and save myself some interest.
Mrs D may one day obtain her licence, but the ZZR is a bit big for her... (Shortarse Syndrome)

Congrats homo
I might come over after work and see if I can ride this new hybrid of a motorcycle they seem to call a "cruiser" later on today.
And park the zzr1100 next to your 250, so it still has familiar sights and doesn't feel so lost, poor thing (*cough*loweritforyourwife*cough*)

I'm not sure you'd handle it, after all it is a technically challenging and awesomely over powered machine! (Says he with about 8 minutes riding experience...)
