I'm not normally a fan of alloy/cast/non-spoked wheels, but they look hot :D It's a shame the discs hide those fine details near the hub. Very tasty.

Thanks, would be nice to be able to have wheels without disks, but not much fun with no brakes lol:crazy:

Yup, cyclists know about the benefits of lighter/stiffer wheelsets. Best way to make any given bicycle faster. It's odd how many motorcyclists seem to overlook them.

Yeah,I wouldn't even bother looking for 5 more hp with an exhaust system when getting lighter wheels has the same effect plus improves handling so much.

i don't think it's a case of overlooking them i think its a case of the price smacking you in the chops like a wet kipper ;) They've been on my wish list for a while but unless 2,500 drops outta my ass in the forseable future .. i'll carry on

Sanx.. Doooooo EEET ! i'm sure he'd snap ya hand off for $1500 ;)

bejeesus.. if you're worried about breaking a law over wheels you should get with the game bro....

It's alleged that in the NZ race scene...engines are built and tuned above and over spec, money changes hands to ensure good grid placing without track time.. geometry devices are being called upon and sponsors pay for advertising they don't get...... you're worrying over spilled milk sunny !!!!

Ohhh and i almost forgot.. it's also alleged that 'some' followers of a certain, he whom shall not be named, are hypocrites and do not practice what they preach...!! GOD forbid!!

Hey Tony, I think it's Marvic's that basically use the same wheel for a variety of bikes and just the bearings and disc carriers are changed to make 'em bike specific, are these not built the same way? Can you not purchase/manufacture disc carriers to suit a varity of bikes and bolt 'em up to these rims?
Sorry, I'm not sure how these are manufactured.....look luvverly though.......

Yeah I thought that,I emailed Carrozzeria to see if they'd fit anything else, they simply said "NO".
The disk carriers are part of the rim so adapting would be hard without changing the mounting widths.
I'm sure it could be done but I wouldn't expect to sell them on a "maybe".
Just glad I didn't buy carbon ones that I couldn't use for racing:crybaby:

Sure you can't use them for racing? The guy from Triple-X moto has Dymag carbon jobbies on his Superduke and seems to have no problems getting it through scrutineering.
