Son has just rung he's dropped his bike on Lewis Pass. He got a ride to Hamner Springs but left the TL on side of road!!!. So has to get bike secured and himself and girlfriend to Ashburton. Anyone with idea as what to do please ring Leeann on 07 3323865 or Josh on 0274374080

At a four hour round trip, its a bit far out for me, plus my trailer has a permanent cover on it, and it would be too low to fit the TL in.

I got a lift from one of the local garages once years ago- Cost me $70 even way back in about 1990.

All I can suggest is to call AA. I'm pretty sure all they'll require him to do is join up, then they'll take care of everything.

He has got the guy from Hamner garage picking it up $75 hr $2 per km but at least it will be off the road. The guy that picked them up is taking them to Chch so all's good.

I just got back from up north, spoke to junior about his off. Turns out a group of about 30 bikes including a couple of vehicles with trailers rode past after his crash and not one stopped.

They must have all been on a promise....

Cost him $360 to get the guy from Hanmer to pick bike up, drove back up from Hinds the next day with ute to pick it up.

Girlfriends Dragons stood up well.:2thumbsup Mothers spools that son was wearing are a little buggered..but dragons underneath all good.
