I have just read on the EBC website "Never use sintered metal shoes in calipers not originally equipped with them" I'm fitting EBC Pro-Lite Contour Brake Rotors so I'm not worried about them, but do I have to change the calipers to?

Mine runs shit with sintered pads. I'm changing them to something different next time.

Actually, I'll qualify that. Over 200km/hr they're great. Cool sound, nice bite, and work really strongly.

It's just that between 50-100 they're soft, and don't give any feeling at all. And they need to get hot to work really well.

And I don't ride over 200 that often.

Oh - and they wear out the rotors something wicked.

Local legend reckoned they worked so well in his blade that he had to speed up again to get to the corner he was braking for ... :)

no need to upgrade the calpier Chocky.

it would pay to give the calpiers a good service/clean tho.
