Well judging by his response to one of the posts, someone has upset him in that thread. He has obviously taken something very personal and decided to abandon ship.
He now appears to be systematically clearing all of his thread/posts

No mate, just saw he was online, clicked to find out what he was looking at and there it was, only one post left on there with any photos attached. Thats a real shame too, but I guess he has his reasons.

Too many people take Kb too seriously.
That is some of the most bullshit stuff I see on KB.
Unlike the "Internet" in general we seek each other out on social basis in meatspace. What happens on KB can extend into the real world, but a huge bunch of you like Mikkel, Carver, Mental Trousers, and a bunch more, refuse to even comprehend that.
More fool you lot. You're quite happy to actually actively abuse and hurt people in cyberspace and then wonder where the fuck that dent in the side of your head came from when you meet people for real.
There's a couple of people on this site I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire.
There's a couple I would sell my house for, if it would help.

Seen my sig lately??
Yeah, I was wondering what a "jem" is... But nice sig nonetheless.
And Jim2 - does it always rain where you are, or does your bitterness stem from something else? Anyway, I guess I should be apologising if my presence so offends you.
As for Buck, its a shame IMO whenever people who contribute to the social side of KB decides to up and leave.

Yeah, I was wondering what a "jem" is... But nice sig nonetheless.
jem
noun
a terrorist organization founded in 2000; a militant Islamic group active in Kashmir and closely aligned with al-Rashid Trust; seeks to secure release of imprisoned fellow militants by kidnappings [syn: Jaish-i-Mohammed]
I've been meaning to correct that for over a year now.
And Jim2 - does it always rain where you are, or does your bitterness stem from something else? Anyway, I guess I should be apologising if my presence so offends you.
Jim2 was born grumpy. However, he has very good reasons for being the grumpiest man on kb and one day he might actually tell you them.

Good on ya :) It all makes perfect sense now.
Jim2 was born grumpy. However, he has very good reasons for being the grumpiest man on kb and one day he might actually tell you them.
Aw, that's gotta suck.
I do hope it won't add to his grumpiness if I decide not to hold my breath while waiting... then again, it just might.

I hope this is not in relation to a post Guy made in the Cruisy Wednesaday Night Ride thread has been deleted. The post was suggesting an earlier meeting and start time, with Pizza in Carterton (meeting up with the other CWNR riders)
Some of the photos from the KB party had been loaded into Guys personal gallery, but these are gone now as well :no:
Guy, if you are reading this, I also hope you keep in touch and that we see you out on the roads "Rubber side down"

Not sure why you bothered quoting my post for that rant. One side is people being wankers, the other side is people taking it too seriously. I dont think people should do either.
I'm quite happy to face up to any consequences of my actions online, cos I'm not a c*nt.

He was saying last week that he was thinking of selling his bike and getting out of riding for awhile. Maybe something pushed him over the edge and he decided, fuck it.
Was he at the Wedensday night ride?

He probably did what I did - Hit the scene too hard and just needs a good break from it all. KB can become too addictive didn't you know?
Only after a year off from biking am I starting to re-gain a slight interest.
Ah well, I sincerely hope Guy's departure is only temporary and that he takes some needed time out and returns to the scene on occassion in future.
Once biking is in the blood - There's nothing you can do about it.
Thanks for all the help and support you've passed around to the fellow KBer's in the last couple of years Guy.
See Guy - I told you I wouldn't mention that you've left KB to head the Porirua Mongrel Mob Motorcycle Gang!!!

from what I saw BB's posts were pro-active regarding n00bies and their progression on motorcycles. Top marks in my opinion.

What the fuck is with this site at the moment? Things are happening that the general population dont like, people leaving, people getting fired, offended????? Nothing is being said? Surly if it involves the site that much (which IMHO buck was part of the site) then shouldn't he have some say, find out what went wrong and go and beat up who ever did it? Or at least tell us that you are pissed off over this: so that we or who ever did it has a chance to make it right? While i dont think biking is a general family, shurly the 250 section is close enough to count to at least know what we did wrong?

Must be Christmas soon.............
It cracks me up these web pages - I've been on plenty of bike ones and there are always interpersonal issues, people who post a zillion a day, old members who dislike the way a site goes or non-technical posts, the grumpy bastard who has to post a shitty comment everywhere, oil arguments, tyre arguments, titty posts .....
Every now and then you just have to turn off the computer and go for a ride

Sometimes taking a holiday from KB can do your headspace a power of good. I left coz I was spending too much time on it and, to an extent, taking it too seriously. I nearly went down the 'delete all my posts' route but chose the 'create a garbled email address and garbled password' route instead and left it all alone for a couple of months.
It has less relevance down here to be honest coz there are fewer KB members to meet. In Auckland and Wellington especially the KB website is a gateway to the social biker scene.
Buckbuck#1 is old enough to make his own decisions - he will no doubt have friends in the real world on bikes that will stay in touch.
I'd like to thank Maverick, gijoe1313, donor, crashe, MSTRS, Yungatart, hXc, Boomer and a few others for keeping in touch despite the fact that I was no longer on KB.
I hope the welly crew keep in touch with the fella even if he's no longer online. It can mean a lot.
Keep yer heid up auld fella! :)

Hells bells McJim, it is I who should be thanking you for taking me under your wings when I turned up that fateful day outside BP Botany. Without guys like you and Mav (and the other good wankers) I wouldn't be enjoying my biking as safely and sucessfully as I done now!
Guys like Buckbuck always gave me food for thought and allowed me to reflect more on the way I ride, why I ride and how to keep riding safely!
Also pulling me out of banks, ditches and laughing at my hair brained schemes also kept me honest :o
Anyway, end of year is almost upon us, I am pulling out my motorcycling Atlas and finally seriously looking at the SI leg of my pootling journey! And yes, will catch up with Buckbuck when I can on the way over the water!
Go the good cobbers, jokers, blokes, wankers, characters and all!
