View Full Version : I've resigned as a Mod

But before you all start mod bashing, it's not because I was unhappy with my fellow mods or because of the rules on KB.

I just spent a couple of days in hospital where I had nothing to do except think or sleep (until White Trash came in and gave me a bike magazine to read - only he sat there and read it himself!) Once the 'thinking' headache subsided I realised how stressful it has been recently dealing with all the shit on KB, and those few who's only purpose on here is to try to disrupt things as much as possible. Mods spend so much time sorting shit out that there's very little time to enjoy KB.

My personal circumstances have changed dramatically recently, so the less stress for me the better.

Just remember folks, mods are bikers just like everyone else who somehow got roped into keeping this site going. Not one of them asked to be a mod - they were asked and in a moment of insanity agreed to do it. Mods deserve a medal, and a little appreciation from members now and then wouldn't go amiss.

Hope you get better soon riffraff...

And I don't care if people think I'm sucking up or whatever, but I have actually appreciated how you've handled a couple of my "arguable" posts.

Take care.

Have enjoyed working with you Riff and meeting you briefly at Taupo recently. You take good care of yourself girl. I'll be leaving KB in a few months too, not through any dissatisfaction but simply getting a new life when we semi-retire to Coro. You make sure you and WT come and see us when you're down that way.

Take care - let me know if we can help in anyway... (I can post you your own magazine but I'm guessing 100 back issues of 'Old Clunker Monthly' might not be that absorbing?)

Cheers

Ahh, but you're not REALLY leaving. Many try, few successfully find the exit. I've tried leaving trails of breadcrumbs, but somebody keeps licking them up.

And the Moderators' team is missing you already.

Take care of yourself. Life's short enough without stress.

Yeah I was, but it turned out that I couldn't infract you for 'excessive hugging to a mod', so I turned my attention to more deserving infractees.
