finally, after almost 3 years, 3 different bikes, 1 accident and some 25,000k, i have finally ditched my l plate!

was a peice of piss... scraped the hell outta one peg taking a corner too hard, lol. was sure id fail after that, but he didnt even mention it! said i need to head check more... dunno what the hell he was doin, but i did at least 5 head checks when merging, and about the same number again when pulling out... the merging ones, i did more than were needed.
he said at the start that he *could* fail me on the condition of l plate... ive had hundreds of cops through work, not including the random WOF/rego checks on roads, and not one has said anything about it.

but, whatever. the l plate has been retired and will go on the shelf with my other bits of broken bike, lol.

Well done you. Don't see the point of making people drag on for ages on their L's. That's one thing Aus does better than us . . . esp in Qld and NT!

lmfao... i think id have to bribe him with whitebait... lol.

mcduck and mutley.. you guys'll do fine. piece of cake. just a note, keep an eye out for ped crossings... my guy was sneaky. theres a crossing just up from the aa place here, and when we left, there was a bunch of kids crossing to the museum... so, we went back up past the aa from a way that id have to go over the crossing. remembered just before i got there about the kids, and slowed to about 40k, due to cars blocking my view of the footpath on each side.

swoop, yeh, scared me half to death. aint never done that before, lol.

thanks heaps everyone... v-go looks MUCH better without that crappy plate on it! :niceone::niceone::niceone:
