Here's a review: http://www.motobke.co.uk/ go to the bikes section and look for Kawasaki Z750S (2006)
Here's a list of mods:
Ohlins Rear Shock
Traxxion Dynamics Constant rate fork springs
Micron Muffler and link pipe
DNA Air Filter
Oggy Knob Crash Bungs
Braided Brake Lines
Oxford Race Stand Spools
Ventura Pack Rack System (L Brackets Only)
Ventura Headlight protector
Stebel Nautilus Horn (all bikes should come with one as standard)
'04 ZX-6R Rear Hugger, slightly modified
Metal Gear front brake discs (because I somehow warped the front left stock disc)
Strip of rubber beneath the instrument cluster to kill the vibration noise from there
Piece of rubber to protect the shock from road muck.
Original shock and muffler supplied with the bike.
Avon Viper tyres are both near new.
My wife deserves a new bathroom, and one of you lot deserves a bike that is better than you'd guess.
I've looked after this bike like a child and I expect whoever buys it to continue in the same vein.
The price is negotiable to a point, but I think it is fair given that it is one owner, garaged, pampered, serviced, and tastefully modified for better overall performance.
WOF due December 23rd, so I'll get that sorted as part of the sale. Rego runs until the end of March 2008.
No bites and it goes on Tardeme.

Damn.
These look like mint bikes.
I dont know why they seem to be so cheap though, especially one with as many extras as this.
Beautiful bikes though, this is one of my considered options for a full licence bike.
One more thing, you might want to change the 'triple' up the top, since its an IL4.

Yeah great price, would have been just what I was looking for if it wasn't the S model! :)
Good luck with the sale.

What's wrong with the S model?
MrMelon

I find the front of them hideous to look at compared to the z750. That's the only issue I've got with them. They sound like a great bike otherwise.

Some people think a pipe'n'Slipper model makes their penis small??

I've ridden this particular bike.
It's good fun.

I'm shocked that nobody has made the obligatory dig about chicken strips coming with dipping sauce yet.
Could be because James Deuce is actually quite a sharp rider with very respectable-looking tyres, of course.

That'd be a good bike for you Mr Random.

And at the price with the mods done, a bloody steal!!!
For a very competent, real road weapon.

Nice bike Mr J2! It looks mint! Not the RG or the price of an RG that im looking for, but best of luck with the sale!

Yes, unfortunately the aesthetics get in the way for me. We all, I'm sure you will agree, have our very personal and entirely irrational views on how we want the bike we ride to look.
Jim's Zed is, though, a very fine motorcycle at a ridiculously good price.

I too have ridden this bike. It is phenomenally good fun to ride and probably a way better bike (thanks to Jim's mods) than Mr Kawasaki ever had in mind.

Why are you selling Jim?
Upgrade time? Surely the Katana's not so good that you only need that bike...
James Deuce

No I'm not upgrading and the 400 will do for now.

No bites
I may put the original shock and pipe back on and sell the aftermarket gear on Trademe.
I'll leave the good fruit on for KBers, but the reality is I'll get the same with the stock stuff still onboard.
I'd really like a KBer to buy it folks.

James Deuce
15th November 2007, 18:53
Probably, but you'd need to talk to Robert Taylor to make sure it would and also get it resprung to suit you.
I have to come and see you - I've still got that can of stuff you lent me!

I'm withdrawing the sale item. My apologies. Something's come up.
Edit: Actually the "something" that came "up" was the Breville waffle iron when Heather found out I was selling the Zed to fix the bathroom up.
Now I just have to seek out my betrayer......
