Ok, adjusted the price, been offered pretty much the same amount as a trade-in, so that's where it will go if there's no interest!

Yup :) - was expecting you to come flying past as most people do on that stretch!

Timaa - I'm off to the UK in mid-Dec, which is why I want it sold now tbh - if it doesn't sell I'll trade it when I get back in Feb.

I have no excuse. I'd just had a good thrash over the Takas and felt like letting someone else get a ticket :) (That's all I could come up with).

Hey bro, just like your input on the bike..

I've been reading reviews that the brakes and suspesion is pretty good for a entry level 650 but it rides sort of like a bicycle, more steering into corners than leaning.

A few quickies : How's the mileage per tank? Your reason for selling? The handling? How loud is it (I like it loud...) ?

Haha, never heard of the ER6 being compared to a bicycle before - guess it's how you ride it! As it has a short wheelbase and is relatively light-weight it handles really well and is very flickable.

It costs $24 to fill the tank, and it usually does around 300kms on that - reason for selling is I'm going overseas for a while and then upgrading to a litre sportsbike when I get back. Standard exhaust is pretty quiet, although there is a range of aftermarket cans (Leo Vince, Scorpion, Arrow etc) which make it sound louder and are around $500 I think.

For more info/reviews etc see Shane's excellent ER6 site at: http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~shanetp/Index.html

Thaks 300 km is a very good range. I get about 200km on my 750 and it's about 25 bucks to fill her up.

Thanks for the info. Cheers.
