Looks like it's been crashed into and the rear subframe bent up.
That'll be a comfy tourer.

I think that's the steering dampener.

Or as the cognoscenti refer to it: That thing that stops you from smacking your thumbs into the tank at that there truly pitiful full lock.

...That'll be a comfy tourer...
if your definition of 'touring' = openin' her up and rippin' rubber on gorgeous twisty roads, it'll be comfy enough!

Well the Ducati 1098 seems to be around the $35k mark, best I can tell, and it also sounds like they're on backorder until around June/July next year.

I have a few old Euro's in my stash and they are all pretty farken sweet, the Laverda makes one helluva racket with the race pipe tho. The old Dukes & MVs are legendary, not many people know a lpt about the SFCs, that's why I threw that in there. :niceone:

Nice, quite nice, but to be frank they don't hit the spot for me.
The current-model Ducs, try as they might, are just not at the Tamburini level in the aesthetics department. [Edit: Of course, anything is an improvement on the 999.]
Then again, motorcycle aesthetics seems to be a very personal thing.
F'rinstance, how about all those people who like Aprilias?
I just don't get it.
