As per title...

Thinking might shoot back to Tokoroa this Sunday for a ride if weather down there is fine. And Tomorrow will be Kimmys if he's open.

Could be keen for something different... any ideas?

Woodhill. Final trailride in Woodhill for the year and hosted by the Waitemata Motorcycle Club so its going to be a good one.

Hikurangi, the Woodhill ride should be a great ride, but Hikurangi is a bit closer to home & should be a good one to, 50km loop.

Its supposed to be fine tomorrow and sunday, so by sunday it should be reasonably dry at thunderx....although my ridding buddy bailed on me for the weekend so i'm now thinking about going to the mangatangi ride.

It wont be that bad, the rain hasn't been that heavy the last couple of days and with fine weather predicted for the next couple of days it should be pretty dry by sunday.

Forget the sand I am totally bored of riding on sand and I don't want to see it again until next winter!

Its the last Waitemata Motorcycle Club Woodhill trail ride for the year and they are always good with plenty of ride time. The Mangatangi ride is an ok ride over farm land mostly but they do close the tracks real early. I got prevented from doing another lap at about 2.30-3.00pm and did not get enough riding in the last two years so if you going to do that ride Cheese make sure you get there real early. In fact from memory I don't think they even let you on to the trails until 10-10.30 and after a briefing so ride time is very limited. Plenty of similar rides coming up so you choose.

What is everyones opinion on Woodhill??? Thinking of trying somewhere new. Been to Maddix park in TGA, Kimmy's Farm, Tokoroa, Thuder valley and Ardmore so far.

Is it worth the drive up from Hamilton? If not will just hit tok or kimmy's on Sunday.

Either way the bikes are all serviced and ready to go (apart from the filters) so I'm pumped!!!

The trip to Woodhill would not really be worth it if you were just going to ride the bike park, unless it was wet where you usually ride and you were sick of mud. However the trailride tomorrow would be worth it because you get to ride out in the forest over a 25-30k loop and the Waitemata guys always make a cool circuit. And its the last chance of the year to do one of these.

Thanks mate,

I guess I'll have a talk to bro and see what he wants to do. We're not so into the trail riding more so the MX but could be keen if they're a good day's riding. Pretty useless you can only ride till 5pm though... Daylight saving means hours of evening riding haha
