That's a Trilobite - they're 100s of millions of years extinct.

Tell that to the T.Rex looking over your shoulder
(with apologies to your dear wife in case my eyes are playing up)

Pravda is known for being a source of the "Apollo landings were faked", "aliens ate my baby" and "the queen is a reptile overloard" type stories.

i have some of those, they are called billabong bugs in australia, i think they go as shield bugs everywhere else, kind of like brine shrimp except they grow fairly big, i would assume that thats a photo of a similar species

Go to youtube and look up 'triops'. They are amazingly gracious creatures. I used to grow them in the aquarium. More info available at http://www.triops.com and on wikipedia.
Re: pravda. Pravda is an old commie rag. From my experience, if it is printed in Pravda, it has got to be inaccurate/propaganda/outright lie.

Get 1024 trilobites together and you'll get one nasty looking trilobyte.
