This ride is being held 1-2 December 2007.

Questions:

1. Is the pub open for breakfast if you arrive at 0500-0700 on Sunday?
2. Is it Ok to check in for the ride on the Saturday Morning, or do you have to be there Friday night?
3. Is there scrutineering?

The pub is open for breakfast on the saturday before starting the ride, and on sunday morning, but not that early. A hot meal is provided en-route somewhere after the halfway point.

It is preferable to be there on the friday night to get the route etc, but saturday morning checkin is OK. Just remember that you will be making harder for yourself.

Formal scrutineering (like the GC) is not provided, but bikes are inspected in the guise of looking for the best presented bike etc. Any riders bringing bikes that are obviously not fit for the ride, will receive a quiet word. There will be a bike shop in Alex open for any bikes that need last minute work if needed.
