I went for a play on the hill earlier tonight. Good ride up and over to Featherstone. Ride back to the top was again good. From the top down to the Hutt not good at all.

From the very top corner, all of the way down, a stock truck has dumped it's crap in the middle of the lane. I lost the back wheel on a bend :eek5: but thankfully managed to recover. :sweatdrop

If your heading for the hill tomorrow morning, take it easy.

Cheers for that.

Bloody stock truck. Wankers should be prosecuted for that kind of carry on.

Its also Toast Martinborough Sun so the 'rapa will be busy as all hell. Plenty of cops too but they'll be after drunk drivers good on 'em

Yesterday was an awesome day for riding. I did the rimitakas quite a few times and only had problems with arsehole motor-homes not pulling over
It was great to see heaps of bikes on the hill too

Hell yeah. Had an awesome ride yesterday over the hill on Sat, was good catching up with you! Interesting guy at the Icecream shop in Featherston eh!! In fact it was such a beautiful weekend we spent almost the entire weekend riding! :D Thanks Malcolm for letting me borrow your bike all weekend, cant wait until I can actually afford a real bike so you can have the RG back..... You rock Mr!

I intended doing it Sunday. After seeing quite how many cars were about on the way out there plus knowing the road conditions already I didnt see the point. So I followed a stream of cars over the Haywards then went home. Such a pity a great day of potential riding was ruined...least there should be alot more to come.
