Be careful when ordering from them, if you order a shitload of stuff (Like I did) you end up paying import taxes because of the value of the goods, have a good look around NZ and Aussie before you order from the US.

keep it under $400 per order and you wont get stung.
And you will potentially save many hundreds.

:first: NZ and Aussie don't have stuff all that i could find, and what i did find was going to cost me an arm and a leg. Ive bought a couple of things from cruiser customizing and even when you include the postage its worked out way cheaper, its well worth having a look in my experience :woohoo:

Don't forget to also ask for the "import special"...
Some places, at your own risk, will fill in the customs sheet with the value lower then the real value of items within so that you can avoid importing taxes.

A fair bit for a limited range of bikes :P
But I'm just saying that cuz they dont have anything for my bike
Btw, you might want to consider that a GV250 isn't the type of bike you would want to customize heavily or custom parts would even be available for. At best you might be able to get some grips, and mirrors. Maybe some pegs if you modify the mount. Things like screens and bar clamped accessories are easy peasy though.
God I hate this new KB color scheme.

Depends on where you are.
If you are getting a fair bit, it would be cheaper to just buy online.

From what I have seen Kuryakyn items are retailing for upto and over twice the cost of importing one.
Hell, I sold my Kuryakyn aircleaner and used the money to buy a carby that wasn't shit.
Some people have their priorities all messed up.

Import cost has to include the Part + Courier + Sales tax + Airfreight + GST
It is easy to get the 'cost to your door ' to nearly double what you thought you paid for the item, This becomes even more so when you have to take into account the exchange rate.

I have no misconceptions as to what I thought I paid, what the real cost is, and what sourcing a part locally costs.
I have a funky little trick called research.
Yeah, I know its a far out concept.
Thats why my ignition cost me $146 NZD dollars delivered to my door, Rather then the $300 NZD quoted by the local distributer.
Saved a couple hundred importing my carb.
And the cam sitting on my shed shelf owes me $144 NZD, again to my door.
You would have to be a bit of a slow thinker to go to the trouble of importing crap and end up paying the same price as locally sourced.

Totally agree with you about researching etc ,the point I was getting @ is that the price you pay on ebay or other foreign sites is only part of the cost.

ah yeah, its not for the Hyosung.. i've already done everything to the wonton-dragon that I want to (de baffled pipes, alarm and datadots)
I got my eyes on a 2007 Victory Vegas 8-Ball. Rumour has it there is a dealership opening before year end in NZ, and i'll be down there in an instant.
Already visited Arlen Ness when I was up in Cali a month ago... goddam drool bikes up in there... plus aftermarket parts direct from them sorted too

Victory is made by Polaris, I had wondered why they didn't stock the victory brand when they have a reasonable dealer network.
Any idea when & where the new dealer is opening up ??

From what I have heard, its down to three different dealers, and only one will get the business for NZ for now. Money is on Silver Fern Imports in Takanini, they are the closest Polaris dealer to Auckland.
And there is an expectation that it will be decided in the next few weeks.
