ill second that $100 or $125 on the day is one hell of a costly day out riding once you add in lunch and fuel (car and bike)as well its more like $200 for a days ride rather clock up a 100ks on some other ride at $30 for the day

To be fair, they feed you, but then I would also have the cost of a day license which I think is another $25.00. I think the trail ride on the Sunday is likely to be $30.00 for club members, no license needed. And they will probably feed us on that day too.

plus fuel, plus food etc etc, probably end up costing the same as the Riverhead 100.

OK, $100 entry fee plus $20 gas for the bike $15 gas for the car = $135. Free trail ride the next day is $30 worth and you may get a feed both days. It ain't that bad.

and that's fine- we want someone who is after a challenge and looking for something a bit different- if your serious about an event like this you will be up new tyres as well- so it won't suit someone on a budget.

That counts me out. I ruined two brand new tires and a tube at the ride in Riverhead last week, front casing split and ruined the tube, rear rounded off and only good for trailrides now. Can't afford another set at the moment. But I am looking forward to the trail ride on the Sunday.

Looks like we'll get 1/2 a dozen guys coming down, from what the guys were saying last night sounds like it should be a sweet ride.

Certainly the saturday would not be for the kids and doubtful for a nana like me but would like to go to the trail ride on the sunday. However, is there any family concession? and would it be ok for kids say on a crf 100 or rm80?
Else with 4 kids ( admitedly one's nearly an adult - but she is a gal!) it kind a looks real expensive at 30 bucks each thats $155? sandpits $60 for us all?
