Righto, since it seems there has been a dearth of rides for those new riders out there, ol'gi will fire up the little ol'hornet and organamise a little tootle for them! :msn-wink:
After all, gotta put in what you take out, the big circle of life, pay it forward yada yada yada...
So, heres what I propose...
A nice quiet and easy run for those first-timers who are confident out on the semi-open roads to get out and enjoy the biking experience. No wankers with egos and attitudes need apply.
Depending on numbers and experienced riders (who can ride at a road legal pace), will be a day to enjoy!
I can't work out how to make that register for event thing, and last time I did this I got infracted for trying to learn about the features, so buggerit, just PM me for the details.
This way, I can vet the applicants so there won't be any kaka business! :oi-grr:

TEC is a most coveted spot, people fight long and hard to prove they are the nanniest of nanas to be there!
Why, I fought something awful for that position! It is a post I relish, but if you have to organise, you can't be at the back like modern commanders!
Biking is about ye olde school and lead from the front, as the Israelian officers say "Follow me!"

Well since gijoe1313 will be out the front and leading this ride, you could end up anywhere in the North Island.
So have plenty of petrol money and just be prepared to not be home for hours.
He has been known to go for a wee pootle and end up down near Wellington!:woohoo::shit::shit::confused::laugh:

You guys should organize the ride up north to Warkworth, Mangawhai Heads, Waipu, Langs Beach, Whangarei but you don't wanna stop there, so up you go to Pihia and the Bay of Islands then on to cable bay and a bit further up is the cape. Bring a tent and camp out I say! Frikkin mean! Booo yah!

Well that was a turn up for the books!
Not one L-Plater in sight! When I saw Duckaddict I was thinking :gob: "Gah!"
All was fine however, the ride was modified to suit the more experience the group had and we pootled on over dales and yonder! Only moment was swarms of bees were hit, I seem to hit a swarm of bumblebees that mistook my little ol'hornet for an enemy...
4 or 5 of those buggers in a row at your helmet really makes you think if someone is firing a machine gun at you :eek5: :shit:
Trip took in Whitford, Maraetai, Hunuas, Mercer, Port Waikato, Pukekohe and Waiuku! :ride:
No hi-jinks or shennanigans on the ride, all is good! Excellent road discipline and safe riding by all ... I like!
Spot you all on the next (semi)Newbie noob ride!
Piccies ...
