I’m a bike newbie..

I work around Onehunga and I need a name/details of a mechanic I can get my WOF done (and maybe a service because my bike is starting to feel “unstable” and rattles a tad when I’m going over speeds of 60km. It was in a accident prior to my purchase and whoever put the frame back on did a shonky job, its on very crooked and the fairings are cracking in places because of this. It’s been well over a year since my bike got its warrant (because the person I bought the bike off had a dodgy mechanic friend who gave it a warrant for a year when my bike is a ’93), I’m sure this isn’t “legal?”..:oi-grr:

To make things “worse” the warrant sticker thing fell off some time ago…along with the L plate

Cheers,

Just take it to Haldanes on Great South Road. The rattles could be unbalanced tyres or something is bent probably from the accident.

Alternatively check out this thread has a mechanic that charges reasonable rates. We use him.
