that would have to be the highlight of your career, interviewing elmo.
i mean really, of all the stars you can interview, elmo would have to be the best.

The interesting and surprising thing was seeing the guy who actually plays(??) Elmo. Definately not what I expected!

and Elmo had to give up eating so much pizza! ...
damn tv being all about education now!! the TV is NOT a baby sitter!!!
and people who just sit their kids in front of the tv to shut them up and give them something to do... tsk tsk.. I hardly ever watched tv as a kid...and I hardly ever watch it now unless I'm TOTALLY found with a lack of something to do... (or when I'm tired, or if it's a dvd night but that hardly counts)

Can you imagine in a few years it'll be the "Broccoli Monster" and Elmo's favourite food will be "Tofu"

Yep, except it won't be a Monster because monsters are 'scary' and might harm dear wee Johnny's psyche or self esteem or something....

Not to mention that it would no longer be appropriate to stick your hand up their arse.

Judging by this pic off Wikipedia, I don't think it's Kevin Clash's hand that is up Elmo's arse.

I had an Indoor Cricket Team called Elmo's....but looking back, i dont think it had anything to do with a tiny wee red thing that spoke like Mike Tyson...

They don't (I think) they just lie on their back allow everyone to have their fun... I guess they'd have to stop that too...

One of the kids had a giggling elmo a few years ago. It was His favorite toy.
The dog thought it was wonderful too. Used to catch her trying to sneak out with it in her mouth.:msn-wink:
Well William had a little cart he put his soft toys in and used to drag it along behind his bike. Elmo always had pride of place. One morning we got up and opened the curtain to find little tiny bits of red all over the back yard.
:doh:William left his toys out with the dog and she finally got him.
So we collected up the bits, (all 200 of them) and found the giggle box which surprisingly was still working. We got a big bunny rabbit and after a heat and lung transplant, now have a giggling bunny.
Didn't ever get another elmo.

You couldn't make this up.
Presenting the Tickle and Toss Elmo (http://cgi.ebay.com/EUC-TALKING-TOSS-TICKLE-ME-ELMO_W0QQitemZ130175881015QQihZ003QQcategoryZ19229 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). Apparently, it speaks and tells the child to "Toss Elmo"...
