Yes it has finally come to pass. I should have taken more notice of all the doomsayers. Such brilliant insight into Government corruption, the continual evolution of the Nanny state, coupled with the loss of free expression via the Electoral Reforme Bill and Bradford’s anti smacking bill or was it Labours. The Sky has Fallen. Bugger. :devil2:

What ever happened to the Kiwi saying "she'll be right".
I know we live in such a terrible place, our lives are not our own anymore, I want to be able to control my own life and do what I want regardless of outcome............I am responsible and should be allowed freedom of choice..........I know best...........

IF we had had a Labour gummint now, then you may have a point, but the fact is that we are governed by the Greens and the Maoris, not Labour. Such are the joys of proportional representation elctoral systems.
And the sky fell down early this morning, but it seems to be coming right now.

My Sky keeps saying "rain fade" on a pefectly good day.
So I voted "yes".
(I'm involved in NZ's Kyoto protocol stuff; and my personal opinion is "The World is changing, the tide won't be held back. Adapt or die.")

That reminds me of a movie, Chicken Little. He had the same problem. Now if I only could remember what he did to fix it...

Lets see:
Wages compared to our econimic trading partners have fallen.
Taxes as a proportion of income have risen.
Education standards compared to previous decades have fallen.
Access to public health has fallen.
Personal freedom has declined.
Indications are that the sky has fallen, but these do not constitute proof.
However there is proof that the labour government has known for some years that the sky is falling; They scrapped the SKYHAWKS
