Here comes the shit time of year (xmas ) when ya need a few bucks and I find myself out of a job, was approached by some one, left my last job and today get told the deal is off.........:argh:, long story but I will let the legal types do their thing on it.
I need a job :angry2: part time ..full time.....street corner ( hmmmm with my age and looks maybe not)
Qualified (old) diesel mechanic, but hell I will work on anything ( I got a bevel ducati I have to).....have up to class 5 licence, have been known to weld and use a lathe.........not flash at that though.
Worked in vehicle leasing for a while so have basic keyboard skill, customer service and accounts payable etc.
I will even take on private jobs, servicing, repairs etc, this sucks

Can you by any chance go back to your last employer and see if they will take you back..... and explain..... you maybe lucky and they might take you back, thats if you left under good terms.
Good luck with the other legal stuff with the now non employers.
Otherwise what about working at a garage like BP or shell etc to tide you over xmas... I know it aint great, but it is money.

Call Trade Staff. This time of year, heaps of Mechanics take holidays, and w/shops are still flat out.
Better rates as a casual as well.

If you just want something to tide you over for a bit, NZ Post used to hire temp people to cope with the extra mail in the run-up to Christmas.

Bummer Mr R. Not good news for you at all! No job to offer sorry, but try the 0800 LABOUR people, this time of the year is manic so hopefully they can give you some hours. Good luck with it mate, may the legal process be a sucessful one for you! If you feel the overwhelming urge to blow some cobwebs, flick us a PM, we can go for a pootle somewhere.

Would you work in a warehouse? Could pull some strings and get you a job, youd probably be picking and packing but itd be a job none the less.
