View Full Version : Body found in Christchurch - oh no . . .

Well, looks like the search for Emma is over. A body has been found, though police are waiting on formal identification.

It was kinda on the cards they would were looking for a murder victim from when she first went missing, but I was still really hoping she might have been held captive somewhere.

I know every murder is a horrific tragedy, but somehow because this lovely young lass was profoundly deaf, it makes it all the more disgusting. The murderer would have known she was deaf if he'd arranged to look at the car, and probably used that to his advantage.

To whoever has done this deed, I hope you die a long and slow death of Multiple Sclerosis. (I've seen that and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy - except this guy, who deserves a lifetime of pain and suffering for what he has done . . .)

Yeah heard it on the news...

I will wait to hear official confirmation....

Oh dear, does not look promising though :(

The police said at the press conference that "the body is likely to be Emma". So I read that as it is her, but they have to get family identification etc and tick the boxes.

Let all hope that the scum sucking SHIT responsible is found quickly and dealt with.
Fair trial, found guilty and locked up till it rots.

There have been posters and signs all over Chch with her face, asking for help.

Her poor family!

I have no idea what happened, but I heard her car was for sale and people were going to look at it.

In South Africa when you sell your car, you never go alone, you take people with you... seems that rule is starting to apply here as well! :(

<br/>It's been a terrible time for her family and friends. Emma was in my class in 2004 and I usually said gidday to her most mornings, as she and I were almost always the first ones into school (Christchurch College of Computing). I couldn't believe that something like this could happen to such a nice person ;'[ - if there was anyone who didn't deserve this, it was her. My mate <a href="http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?u=12341">uNople</a>'s pretty good friends with her (<a href="http://www.stuff.co.nz/4285977a6530.html">See Stuff article about her time at CCC</a>) and he's been liasing with the family keeping all of the ex-CCC students informed. Unfortunately there hasn't been much good news lately.

If you want to support the family in this terrible time, a few dollars would go a long way to help them - (especially now that the worst case has unfortunately eventuated). So please <a href="http://www.donauction.co.nz/index.php?s=1&page=campaigns&part=55&campaignnum=abaedce83e4c0226a1c40319a615c027">DONATE HERE</a>, any amount would be greatly appreciated!

there was a relatively meaty AOS operation today at Wigram Lodge and someone was arrested. Speculation is that its related to this.

+1 to that.
Suggestion....dose him up on Warfarin, and then cut the bastard. Lots of shallow ones. All over him.

Yup.
I for one do not care to pay $80000 a year for the murderer to live in prison for a few years (assuming of course that the person arrested is duly found guilty and sentenced to prison). I don't know why people get hung up on the death penalty: not the deterrent thing, not the "We might have got the wrong guy" thing: the fact is it costs me a load of money to keep these shitheels in better circumstances than what they're used to while the victims are left to suffer. A bullet to the head and guess what? they wont do it again.

also its just started to piss with rain here, which will make their scene examination that much more difficult.

Poor woman. I didnt know her, but this has made me quite sad...

The one relief is they have a firm suspect so quickly. I'd guess the fuzz were treating it as a murder since day one and were hunting this man almost from the get go. Let's hope they got the right guy and it'll get sorted asap, then lets hope the guy gets lots of unwanted man love in jail. Repeatedly, and with vigour. With no lubricant of any sort.

Well done the coppers, and huge virtual hugs to Emma's family and friends.

Ain't that the truth, Scummy. I'd like to see the perpetrator gut shot with a .22 and left to a slow agonising death in the bush. RIP, Emma, and sincere condolences to the Agnew family

Hope he gets the alcathene treatment,i.e put a piece of alcathene pipe up rectum, put in a piece of barbwire in pipe approx 150mm long, remove said pipe, voila inserted wire with barbs up the arse.

She was seemed very confident in her circle of friends,so if out of that zone of friends anything could happen.Closure for the family, but at what cost to the parents especially. The prick will get all the support needed, and family get jack shit, were is the JUSTICE.

Terrible sad buisness.
That guy is obviously 1 sick fucker.
On the very small bright side, she was found by my workm8s bull terrier.
As a bull terrier owner its great that they are doin some good stuff for a change.
I hope her spirit was happy to see wee dotti, come to find her and give her family some closure.

Nice thought - thanks for letting us know that. I hope she liked dogs, I'd like to think she did and was relieved it found her and enabled her to be reunited with her family.

I hope your friend wasn't too traumatised, either.

This is interesting . . . if it was the same guy, sounds like the second lass escaped death by a fraction.

I just hope that they have the right guy. Seems to me once the police focus on someone they lose their peripheral vision.
