View Full Version : WTF is it with cagers?

Riding home this afternoon, turned into Upper Harbour Dr.
Did the usual thing - split down past the cars... Lights had just changed & this cage next to me guns it up to the corner. No probs, cages are going slow as usual, I'll just pass them when it's safe
So I wait... get almost to where the centre median starts, so I move towards the right of the lane. Cage in front does the same... WTF?
So I move further right... so does he. So go to pass and the wanker swerves towards me :angry2:
Couldn't fucking believe it. The line of cages were doing about 20k - not like he's going anywhere very fast.
Unfortunately I didn't get his rego - was concentrating on getting away from him without getting shunted into oncoming traffic.
Fuck horns - I want handguns

Sometimes drivers just reflect the attitude that is projected towards them? Were you riding like a twat? Or trying to be Valentino in the traffic? What's the hurry?

That's cool. I can see by your reply that you are not a hothead. Some peeps I see riding out there are their own worst enemies and not only the young ones. This car driver may have met too many of those and decided to take it out on you. Or he's on P :)

I gotta admit... it's tempting to drag pricks like that out of their cage and give them a beating...
I get a little pissed when some random asshole tries to kill me - donno why
The attitude of Auckland drivers is definitely getting worse - something I wouldn't have thought possible

Maybe it's a west Auckland thing? I did 21000km's a year commuting on South Auckland roads and thought the standard of driving and courtesy was really improving.

Must be the season.... been a few reports lately of cagers trying to ram bikes
I'd prefer they didn't do stupid stuff like that - whether out of respect or out of fear - either works for me. :dodge:
Maybe all their common sense dribbles out their ears at xmas time

Ha ..pull in clutch...........rev to 5000..........sound waves physically move them.:devil2:..heheheh the joy of an old Ducati with conti pipes, but I have noticed that for the 99% of the time people either move over or at least leave room..........there are always the other 1% and I applaud your sentiments of guns and violence towards them:2guns::ar15:.
Me I kick bite and mangle mirrors.........49 years old with kids and sick of wankers who want to hurt or kill me:shake::shake:
