hello
nearly nearly about to get my new 125 cc scooter. someone mentioned that i will need to run it in??? afraid rather non mechanically minded. so what does it mean, and what do i have to do?

Means you have to run along next to it for a couple of days before engine can take the weight of a person.

It's a scooter - they have trouble taking the weight of one person even after they are run in Dan.

Seriously though "Nitty" (I hope you dont have nits) - there is usually a label on the speedo saying not to go over a certain rev point or speed for the first XX amount of km.

Just means take it easy and don't thrash it for the first few hundred k's. Lube takes a while to work into the surface of moving parts and stuff like that.
