Damn camry's cambelt stripped its teeth,so car no go no more.:mad:Will try throw another cambelt at it,but even if that works its getting a bit old in the teeth so needs replacement.Just when I had my heart set on a RF900 to replace the old GN250.Dawn life, always something to throw a spanner in the works, but got to do whats right by the family, and a cage is what is needed to transport the littlies,so a cage it is what I shall get instead of my bike upgrade.:crybaby:.At least the Gn will be cheaper to run if not boring.:shit:

A decent GN sells for $1,5K or a fraction more, and fast! You will easily get a decent 400 - 600cc for that. (I picked up a 400 that needed a new head gasket for $500, had Rego and WOF)
Where there is a will there is a way.
Hey, sell that GN, spend $1K on a bigger bike and you have the $$'s to fix the car too!! ;-)

The horror of it all, we all weep with you in this time of great sadness.
Could you sell the littlies:baby::devil2: then you will not need the cage upgrade.

Albany Toyota told me, when I replaced my Camry cam belt last time, that even if it does strip, slip, tear, or shread, there is so much clearance that nothing touches....Should just be a cam belt replacement you're up for......Now we find out how accurate they were.... :wait:

Well finally changed the cambelt and what do you no it runs:eek:,however its down on torque, will do a compression test .I might be out a tooth on the belt.
Will also check ignition timing, but that shouldn't have changed.
Anyway still need to replace cage with something newer.
