Someone else's dream, Dave, is Supers at Taupo. The word on the street is that one of the backers of the Taupo track expansion is a European promoter who is very keen to swing a return to NZ of the WSB circus. Taupo is being upgraded to international standards, with garages, hospitality suites etc etc. Taupo is also being proposed for V8's and possibly a return to 3 NI rounds in the national points road racing.

AND... the expansion could be mostly complete by the end of this year (so the newspaper peoples tell us:o)

Bring it on!

Yeah, i've heard all that info-very keen and looking foward to it.
V8 supercars is supposed to be the priority though.
How about the move for a new track at meremere to replace pukekohe when it goes back to the horse club in 2005,
another international sized track/conference centre,etc.
