looking at a cr125 which has been rebuilt(top and bottom end). im 90 kilos and around 6 foot 4 tho, will this bike be fit me alrite, or am i too heavy for it.
whats the power like on 125's? really looking for a bike with a real agressive powerband.
thanks.

i'd look at a 250 two stroke or a 450 four stroke.
a lot of weight for a 125 to push around they got pretty good power for a little bike but a man of your size would throw it around like a toy if you get it just tune the suspension in for your wieght, but i'd be looking at a larger capacity for some serious power

If you are going to just fang it around for a bit of fun then it will be no worries, they are cool little bikes they just dont have a lot of torque so you have to keep them on the pipe.

A 125 demands alot more work than "other" bikes
They are great bikes to hone your skills on im 56kgs dripping wet and love my 125 and find the 250f to "easy" to ride
Only thing i dont like is the height but i do find after good half hour session it seems to feel alot better

get a 250, youll find the 125 too slow. i had one until early this year, 250 was the best move i ever made

We just sold my sons 125 because it took a bit of riding pleasure away having to keep it on pipe all the time. Having to clutch it all the time up hills and outa corners at woodhill and other places. They have a narrow powerband and you have to be in it. But if you are heavily into track based mx, racing and jumps they are brilliant for it! If you want something with a bit broader use and will tractor from down low and still scare you, Go 2 smoke 250. By gearing, leaving it with the 13 front you can make them hit really hard or broaden the power out by using a 14 front sprocket and a fly wheel weight.
my 2 cents

oh, and make that a 250 that isnt your rm. show up sometime when one of us are going riding and ask for a blat, most guys dont mind ppl having a sample ride on their bikes of a "you fuck it you fix it" basis

haha believe it or not the rm is running mint and has been for ages. i rejetted it and got the jetting spot on and put in a new clutch kit.
im just gonna ride the fuck out of it until it blows. then buy another bike.
yer fuck it might just get a 250 had a go on mates 125 and not really my kind of bike. bit to slow
