ajturbo its auckland area, i am heading up to auckland on the gixxer tomorrow morning and then back again from auckland wesnday avo

22 goes from pretty much puke/bombbay area, down to just before hammyhole.

If you keen for a ride somewhere in the morning, i be leaving papoma about 7.30ish give drop me a line

If I ever wondered why I work shift work, today would explain why.

Got my new back tyre fitted the other day(thanks Amps), so was looking for a chance to try it out. :ride:

Made contact with my mate Glen(also shift worker) meet at AB, qucik drink and off.

Did Drury off ramp to old GSR ramarama, bombay, back on exspress way off at the top of Bombay and down Ridge rd, down past "Bugger Me" dogs Zoo on to Whangarata, down to tuakau bridge, ye ha 22 again :ride: .

Glen and I had an uneventful, but fun ride to Ngaruwahia( man Glen for someone who had never done 22, you rock) got a bit of gas, talked some guy shit :) , Then on to Whatawhata, lovely fast ride to Raglin, I belive Glen was scapping some pegs as we went down the devi(Hill), a bloody great pace, then just B4 Te Uku I got that gut feeling, so was not suprised to see a HP car as we drove slowly along, The cop even waved back :first: nice guy.

So along to Rags, NB 30kph road work restriction just out of town, and also worthy of note the BP is closed for repairs/upgrade.

Anyway, a quick meal/coffee break and away we went again, got a little light rain on the way back, not so much that we didn't have a bit of fun on "The Hill". :shit: .

A nice quick pace back to Ngaruwahia got a bit more fuel then followed the route west of the river & back to Huntly, from there we head west to Coal feilds of Rotowaro ,Waikokowai and back onto 22, buy this stage I have to work hard to keep that dam TL of my arse, way to go Glen :crazy: ,

Unevetful trip back to Tuakau, Harrisville, Buckland and Bombay, qucik chat and we head our separate ways..


Thanks for your company Glen, I had my work cut out to keep in front of you, dammed good effort for your first time on those roads..

Oh Lou if your out there so far Tyre has preformed well no issues.

AB = Auto Bahn in this case its the AB just south of Papakura off ramp southern M/way south bound, also one located at top of Bombays on North bound side and one Northern M/way north bound before Silverdale.Also see FAQ section of KB.

22 is H/way 22 in this case the bit from Tuakau Bridge to Near Waingaro Springs.

Btw whats this 11.30 shit ,the days half over by then :innocent: Next time just give us a :mobile: .

ok ok ok ! i had to do dishes, do the vacuming, do the lawn mowing, paint the house, check the net, hassell cujain... all before lunch :confused2
cujain has told me about his ride to Auckland... will pass this time, i will get him to tell me next time he goes.... :scooter:
