I am restoring two TT250's and need all sorts of bits and pieces including side covers or number boards for them. I don't give a shit what condition they are in as I can make new ones from them in fibreglass - I just need some to start with.

If you have these in any condition - that's ANY CONDITION - then drop me a line. I am relatively trustworthy too so if you're considering lending me yours then I promise to get them back to you once I have taken a mold.

See my restoration link here: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=61733

Photos below show the side covers/number boards I am looking for...

I'm restoring and rebuilding two 1980-1984 TT250's and need the following parts:

Still looking for :
Exhaust pipe, header, muffler etc.
Front wheel, drum brake assmbly & axle.
Decompression cable, clutch cable, front brake cable, basically any cable actually.
CDI unit
Rockers, valves, etc.
Side covers or number boards.
Rear brake linkage, rear brake lever, gear lever, kick start lever, foot pegs etc.
Pretty much anything, whole bikes, engines or other parts.

I'd also have a look at a SR250 SR 250 motor if it came up to either rob for parts or if it was any good, to do the electric start frame alteration.

I have now found the following thanks:
Main drive shaft - that's the one that the sprocket attaches to.
Shift fork bar - the longer one.
Cam shaft (with or without head).

I have given in and bought a side cover off ebay. $25 US plus postage so we'll see what it comes to by the time I land it here. I need two sets so I will have to make the right hand covers using this as a pattern, probably out of alloy I'm thinking.
I'm still looking for bits if anyone has found one under the pile of shit in their garage...
