FS: GSXR600/750/1000/SV650 race fairings

They are moulded off of a GSXR600K4 but i have had them mounted on my GSXR1000K3. Have decided i won't be taking the GSXR on the track anymore and the fairings are therefore up for sale. Will come with screen and dzeus fasteners to hold fairings together. Will need painting.

I see no reason why not. The K1 isn't much different to the K3-K4 under the fairings. This is for the two front parts (top and bottom halfs) and a race tail section with cutout for standard seat. Screen and associated fasteners included.

Would these fit on a K1 1000.A little bit of grinding along the back edge of the fronts, especially where it goes around the coolant bottle, and you're in! Absolutely no problem at all on race fairings, and you'll still be able to clean them (the edges) up with some 80 grit so they've nice n tidy :yes:

Got a couple of decent pics on the camera before it died so had to use the phone camera for the last few.

They are of really good quality, the tail and the top are the best examples. Its very sturdy compared to some sets i've seen. The bottom half and tail are quite rigid which is good, but the top fairing has good flexibility so you can fit it over crash bungs (no drill/cut) and bend it into shape to mount the top to the front subframe.

Sorry about the quality of the phone pics, cant be bothered lightening them up. The paint job on the top half is pretty close the lighter blue on the 05+ suzuki's but without the pearl and clearcoat and is actually engine paint so it should be fairly resistant to fuel etc and of course heat.

The tail section fits very nice on the GSXR1000K3 but i had to drill and tap to small holes in the top of the subframe under the seat to secure it at the front otherwise it sits pretty snugly and doesn't move. If you were going to be pedantic you could get an undertail piece made up and it would look pretty tidy - i just taped it up with wide black duct tape.

They used to belong to Carl Morgan - look him up. He was racing in Aussie when i bought them, so I ended up speaking to his mother instead. She reckoned they were Yoshimura fairings - i think not, but like i said - these are very good quality and are only flexible in the right places, they are very sturdy and solidly made.
