In theory we would be keen, and good onya for volunteering - the reality is - it's very situational as Vickis workload goes up many times over at this time of the year and it's a we see on the day kinda thing - she often ends up working those days before xmas.
Love xmas but it is a busy ole time o the year.

11.00 meeting at Rimatex
11.30 meeting at Featherston
12.00 ish Lunch at Lake Ferry
Ride back to Wellington

Hehe, good little blat here and there around the rapa. Nice ride over the Hill to Rimutex. People must be feeling good about the end of year, had heaps of cars pull over to let me past :2thumbsup
Got into Rimutex just as the crew arrived. Back over the Takas (less courtesy this way...grrr angry :angry2: welly drivers fleeing the city?) before taking off for the Lake Ferry pub and waiting and waiting and waiting for some food. Then we waited and waited some more for food. Glad it was sunny and good company
Back to Martinborough where I split from the group for a spirited jaunt through to Masterton.
Hope the BBQ is great tonight. Sorry u couldn't make it riding Trudes, you'de better have a good spread for the lads ;)

Was on my way home from Masters and I spotted the fleet forming up on the Western Lake road and decided to join the ride I was auto-registered for. A good ride out with Jim2 in the lead... not my fave road but was reassured by J2 standing up and trying to peer over the one-way bridges. Was kinda amusing :) ... and a damn good belly-laugh at the pub :niceone:
Cheerzall... and Merry Xmas!
