Hmmmm a KB calender for the boy
A years subscription to whatever magazine he is interested in.
A MP3 player - can be brought cheap now at Dickie Smiths.
Short's and t-shirt
DVD of his favourite band

Hmmmmmmm a KB calender for girlygirl.... and a romantic night or weekend away for the two of you. Write it on a hand written card and give it to her with a nice bunch of flowers.... plus a list of what you will do for her around the house..... like make dinner for her etc etc etc

the two girls - MP3 player or shorts and t-shirts
DVD of their favourite band
Poster of their favourite band - to go up on the bedroom wall.
nice girls smellies...... as they are getting to that age.

WE can only hope that girlygirl isn't reading this list of suggestions, as that will spoil the fun.

The boy's easy...anything with Bionicle or Ben10 should do the trick, unless he's more towards 11 years old than 8...

The girls: you can't go wrong with "jewels in the hair" making kits kind of things, something to play music with, bracelets making kits...that sort of thing. The Warehouse happens to have a really good range of girl presies...if all else fails, I reckon clothes will take you out of trouble, as long as you allow for the summer growth spurt and maybe buy stuff a size bigger than required...

For the Girlygirl...Bike bling? or maybe just straight bling? :blip:

Brilliant store called Edugifts Edutoys or something... at Westgate. I'll try to remember to look next time I'm going past.

Great fun toys, most seem reasonable quality and they are (of course) educational.

I'm an unimaginative bitch, and find it hard to buy for the kids I look after (as they have every bloody thing they could ever want or need), so one word comes to mind: Vouchers. Music vouchers, Mall vouchers, Warehouse Vouchers, Day Spa vouchers, petrol vouchers, chemist vouchers.... take your pick, and then they can get whatever they want and not have that uncomfortable "gee, thanks, I love it" thing going on when they actually hate that bright orange shirt you bought them!:pinch: Oh and for the girly love lady something from here (http://www.sexgear.co.nz/)

my parents gave me the beat for christmas,

Have a happy ending?

Give your son a sponge, one daughter a brush and the other a bucket.

Then your bike is all clean for a boxing day ride.
