Well finally got the last 2 pieces back from he spray shop and have assembled Chickadee's crazy frog.
Looks so much shinier than the battered but beloved RG150 that was.
She is booked in for her full test in the near future at which point the RG gets put up for sale and she can ride her new GSX750F.

Ah, the Mighty Frog!
I remember him fondly.
Why did you decide to paint him?

Hello McJim, Chickadee and the wee clan....
I see you have unpacked all the tools etc.......
*phew* Was expecting a few expletive words......
'Crazy Frog' is looking good now in her new black 'Westie' clothes.
PS: Have you managed to copy the 'crazy frog' disc onto dvd yet?

'twas Chickadee's request. Bike had had a couple of minor slides which had scratched the fairings a bit. I fixed up the fairings and asked her if she wanted the original colour. She asked for the bike to be redone in black so I sprayed the plastics and sent the tank and mudguard off to get professionally done. I was gonna strip the bike once Chickadee passed her full and use it to race streetstock but she's already starting to line up possible buyers.
Had the bike reading 180kph the other night (well I had to test to see if I had connected the fuel tank back up properly!) and was surprised to feel it had more left to give - but it was night and I was nervous of small furry animals bolting in front of me.
I'm gonna miss this bike more than the VTR250....:(

It doesn't look like a crazy frog anymore. You should keep it and go play in street stocks.

And once again, ol'faithful is given the ol'heave-ho :weep: Never mind, at least chickadee has a bigger, spankier new ride to learn all over again on! :scooter:
I think the wee'un is just asking to be given a go on it!

Sweet ride dude. I love those little 2 smokers.
I have found that genuine parts, although available, are bloody expensive. We tend to use trademe (Kiwi ebay) to get used parts for RG's...lots of them get used in Streetstock racing - a large number were brought in in 1998.

I seen the streetstock site...I was like WOW!...so many RG here...where else the place of origin Thailand, this bike is consider almost extinct.Im from Singapore and its the same case here but then at the time of it production, there also arent many, its consider rare bike here in my hometown.
That why i was wondering how u all guys maintain this bike.I want to change it piston.I can even get it anywhere...even the gasket i cant get it.Apart from trade me,any shop there that can send overseas?
