Front swingarm

Hey guys,
I remember reading in a magazine a while back about a bike with two swing arms, front and back.
It was just a small segment but it really caught my eye, now I wanted to see if there was anymore info on the bike but I can't remember the name of it nor can I find the magazine.
All i remember is that it used a ducati engine but not who made the frame and suspension.

Anyone know the bike I'm talking about?

Aha, after some searching I found out that I was thinking of the bimota tesi.

the vyrus, based off the bimota and a price tag of $69,000 (USD i presume), I'd buy one if I had the dosh.

That's the Bimota Tesi (http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/firstrides/122_0503_bimota_tesi_2d/).
But Yamaha also made one - the GTS1000 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_GTS1000).

I rode Chris Mitchell's GTS1000 round the track on saturday, very interesting, not alot of clearance but great fun all the same

There have been a lot of bikes over time that have had front swingarms.

ELF (The french oil giant) tried racing them with Honda engines. Threw mega bucks at it.

There have been a couple of versions of the Bimota Tesi.

There is the Vyrus (http://www.vyrus.it/it/motorcycle/motorcycle.asp)

Some scooters use them.

You could say the Duolever front end on some BMWs is a swingarm. And the front end of the Britten. They are not 'hub centre' type systems however. They are a little less obvious to look at, turn your head 90degrees and you can see some commonality.

steering was fine,
lacked feel, but no worse than a bike with forks from the same era.. say zzr1100

fark all dive under brakes was strange

i was a nana on it, being a nana and all...
