Hey guys

Part of my early New Year's eve resolution for '08 is to stop racing around on the streets and get into track riding. My KTM motard would be perfect for this but apparently I need to make a few minor modies to it before she's allowed on some tracks.

Can anyone please offer any assistance in finding and/or fitting some axel sliders for the KTM? Unfort I have modified axels so OEM won't work...

Thanks fellas! Hope to see you out there soon:eek:

Regarding sliders,

If your axles are hollow you can just use some threaded rod with some skateboard wheels on the ends......sounds a little rough but if it is done right you can't tell the difference and can be done really cheap.

I know because I have done it on all my tards.

There's the number 8 wire spirit! I could try that on the front axel tx.

I put a few comments and pics on how I set up my DR650 for Motards in the DR650 (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=50896&page=3) thread. Most of the mods are due to Kart track requirements to cover sharp scratchy bits that may damage the track surface.

You also have to comply with the regular MNZ regulations (http://www.mnz.co.nz/competitionrules.aspx) like wiring up sump plugs and oil fillers etc.
