Someone on here has side covers for one of those. Bear with me for a moment and I'll let you know.
Shiny side up (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?u=13244) has a manual.
Pussy (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?find=lastposter&t=60699) has the side cover.

Hmm - mines a wee bit newer...
Called a mobile gym. :sweatdrop
Just waiting for the weather to clear a bit so I can work out - er, ride it now... Yeah - I know it's a dirt bike - but trying to run in a new engine when traction is giving me wheelspin-bog-wheelspin-bog isn't all that much fun. :oi-grr: And I still got soaked on Saturday having a ride anyway...

Strangely enough it will only have .8 of a kg per BHP less then the 250 with me on the 650 and a normal (80)kg person on the 250.... so the BHP gain should not be to big for me :)
Besides, after sitting in a back yard for a few years like it i soging to have the 68BHP that it had coming out of the factory....
McDuck
10th December 2007, 18:58
Further more with the normal sized rider on the 250 it would have 166.6 BHP per ton and me on the 650 would have 189.9, presuming the 650 has not lost any power over the years which it most probably has.
I like maths :)

Nothing wrong with getting the shaft.

Cause the VMax looks nice still and the Virago looks much better than it did.

Quite easily. But would be hard to crash them when I'm not riding them lol.
Have fun working on the new bike mate. It's fun to fix things.

Used to have one of those 650G's a long time back. They don't go too bad, and are pretty much bulletproof in the engine department.
Agree with you about the step up from 250 - not exactly a rocketship, especially compared with more modern machines, so you should be able to handle it fine.
Good luck with the 'refurbishment' and getting it on the road - look forward to seeing you out there with it !

I have soem well unloved Koni shocks downstairs that may fit that. I will have to search on the model number to see if the fitting is the same.
Built like a hammer those things, and about as fast...
The usual problems with them IIRC is the stator and regualtor and rectifier. When you get it going, check it is charging correctly.
