Lake District residents are to be asked their views about motorbikes being driven on tracks and paths.
The Lake District National Park Authority is holding three public debates with Chapel Stile, Backbarrow and Kirkby-in-Furness chosen because those areas have the most heavily used trail routes in the park.

The results will be used to help put together a document on 'green road driving'.

Authority trails adviser Dave Robinson said: "People in these areas have contacted us in the past and we want to give them an opportunity to share their views and concerns on issues ranging from levels of legitimate use to illegal riding and driving on footpaths, bridleways and open fells. This is not about calling for a ban, it is the opportunity to voice issues and help resolve concerns."

4x4 vehicles will also be included in the debates.
